Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic MERN Stack Development Intern to join our growing team. You'll learn full-stack development by building modern web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
As a MERN Stack Development Intern at PixelKrafts, you'll work on real-world projects including SPAs, e-commerce platforms, and custom web applications, gaining hands-on experience with both frontend and backend technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using MERN stack
- Build responsive user interfaces with React.js
- Create RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
- Work with MongoDB for database operations
- Implement user authentication and authorization
- Collaborate with team members on code reviews
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Learn and implement best practices in web development
- Stay updated with latest MERN stack trends and technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience or fresher with basic MERN knowledge
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and ES6+ features
- Familiarity with React.js and component-based architecture
- Basic knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
- Understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Strong problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn
- Currently pursuing or completed degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with state management (Redux, Context API)
- Knowledge of TypeScript
- Familiarity with Next.js or other React frameworks
- Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Experience with testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Knowledge of deployment platforms (Heroku, Vercel, Netlify)
- Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material-UI)
- Understanding of agile development methodologies
